April: Sounds familiar.
Lynn: Why do you say that?
April: Because that's what my dad told me. He believes that Jesus has already prepared a place for my mom.
Sudden turbulence….
April: (Alarmed, looks out the window) Boy, it's sure a long way down.
Lynn: Thirty thousand feet.
April: (Incredulous) Really?
Voice of Flight Attendant: We are experiencing severe turbulence. For your safety the pilot has requested that all passengers fasten their seat belts and remain in their seats for the rest of the flight….
April: (Alarmed) I wonder what's going on?
Lynn: It's probably just an air pocket.
April: (Tightens her belt) I hate flying, don't you?
Lynn: No, not al all.
April: Probably because you're not afraid to die.
Lynn: That's exactly why.
More turbulence…
Lynn: It's getting bumpy.
April: I'll say.
More turbulence…
April: (Scared, she grips Lynn's arm) What if the plane goes down and we all die?!
Lynn: Out of the body, present with the Lord.
April: (Frowns) Sounds like another Bible quote.
Lynn: It is.
April: (Defensive) The Bible sure has a lot to say about dying!
Worse turbulence…
Lynn: Heaven is for the living. Only unbelievers should fear death.
April: (Worried) I feel a sudden urge to pray..... (Sighs deeply and bows her head) Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name…
