Kay: I'm with her.  What some people won't do for money!

Jake:  (Pacing) Kay forgot the machete, Mandy forgot her hat.  (To Ellen) And what, pray tell, did you forget?

Ellen:
Me?  Nothing!  I brought everything I was supposed to!

Jake: (Looks her up and down) Oh really, then where are your shoes?

Ellen:  (Looks down) On my feet!

Jake: (Calmly) You're wearing your Nikes, Ellen.  You're supposed to be wearing your hiking boots.  Remember?  Your boots are sturdy.  They're made for rugged terrain.  Sneakers should be worn at the mall, not, I repeat NOT, in the Costa Rican rain forest.

Ellen:  But my Nikes are so comfortable -- and you've got to admit that those boots are really clunky, Jake.  I hate wearing them.

Mandy:  Me too!  I wore my Rebok's!

Jake: (Sighs)  Maybe we should go back to camp and start out fresh in the morning -- with the proper gear!

Mandy:  Good idea.  And this time I won't forget the food!

Everyone:  You forgot the food?!

Mandy:  (To Kay) Well you forgot the machete (To Ellen) and you forgot your boots.

Jake: And you forgot your hat and the food!  What's with you guys?  Why would you come into the jungle unprepared?  I mean, what could be more important than having something to cut through the vegetation with…and the right shoes…a hat to protect your head…and food?!  It's not like we didn't discuss this.  I thought you were listening.  (Looks up to heaven, pleading) Lord, where did I go wrong?

Kay:  Don't blame yourself, Jake.  We're the ones who blew it.  You did stress the importance of our gear.  I guess we just didn't take you seriously.

Mandy:  Speak for yourself, Kay Sutterfield!  I took him seriously!  My problem is I have a bad memory.  I forget stuff, even when I know it's important.

Ellen: I'll say.

Mandy:  (Thinking out loud) Hey, maybe I should put a yellow sticky on my head to remind me to wear my hat.

Ellen: And one on your mouth, so you'll remember to bring the food.

Mandy:  Yeah!

Kay:  And I swear, I will not forget the machete tomorrow.

Jake:  And I swear, I will not take a group of women bird watching, no matter how much money I'm paid!

Mandy:  This was supposed to be an adventure!  (To Kay) You said we we're going to have fun!  See all kinds of exotic birds and animals--
