Gayle: I take it your parents liked cats.
Scott: Not especially, but cats are easier than dogs. Named 'em Lost and Found.
Gayle: (Incredulous) You named your cats Lost and Found?
Scott: Why not? The names fit. They were lost and I found 'em!
Gayle: Did you ever get that puppy you prayed for?
Scott: No. God did something better. He gave me two cats! I loved those little buggers better than any dog I'd of gotten.
Eric: So, Terrie, back to you. You need to chill out, lady! After volunteering at the center for six years, I'll bet you know as much about prolife issues as your director does.
Scott: She does! You should hear her talk about all that stuff.
Terrie: (Takes a deep breath) I know a lot, sure. But Natalie's the consummate professional, she's the epitome of confidence. But I lack confidence. Leaders should be self-assured. I'm not.
Gayle: (Interrupts) Ah, you're too hard on yourself, Terrie. You prayed that God would enlarge your ministry, and it seems he's giving you a chance to do just that. My question is, Do you believe the job is an answer to your prayer?
Terrie: (Firmly) Yes.
Gayle: Then accept it and step out in faith.
Eric: Look, the thing you need to grasp is that the God we pray to is the Creator of this vast universe we live in. He's a big God!
Scott: Yeah! We're talkin' big! Even bigger than BIG!
Gayle: What's truly amazing is that he's there for us. To give us a hand when we need it.
Terrie: Those are comforting words, you guys. (Short pause) If I accept the job, I'll sure need a hand. A big hand!
